We don’t just click points on a map; we meticulously hand-craft every route. Our bread and butter are gravel, forest paths, and paved forest roads with no car access. We keep road sections to an absolute minimum – only crossing main roads or staying in traffic just long enough to find the next turn back into the wild.

To keep things fun, we spice the routes up with playful trails and technical sections. The result? A pure gravel ride, the crunch of gravel under your tires, and a big smile at the finish.

Most routes are 40 to 55 km long - in our opinion, this is the optimum distance to leave time for relaxing on a meadow or over coffee. We make longer routes where it would be a shame to go shorter.

Level 1 (Easy Going): Smooth terrain with no surprises or steep climbs.
Level 2 (Classic): Regular but varied terrain, technically easy.
Level 3 (Challenge): Technically demanding sections or over 900 meters of climbing.

All routes are gravel-friendly; the level just hints at how much you'll sweat.

We assume you'll come to the route start by car, so you need to get back to it. We choose starting points mainly where you can park for free. So you ride the loop from car to car.

We also have linear routes - you do part by train, back by bike. Then the startpoint shows the place where you get on the bike.

We're not bikepacking specialists, but we love places with minimal crowds. And these spots are perfect for multi-day routes with hammock camping. Find inspiration in the category Into the Wild.

Everyone rides differently - some like it chill, others want a thrill. We guarantee all routes are rideable on gravel. Worst case scenario? You get off and walk a few steps somewhere - but that's rare. Some routes have stream crossings, but that's part of the fun.

No, they aren't. We intentionally keep the route "clean" because not every device handles extra data points well, which could cause the route to display incorrectly in your navigation.

While points of interest (blue dots) are directly on the route, some snack stops (orange dots) require a small detour. We don’t want to force these turns on you – everyone has a different pace and appetite. The GPX route is designed to be perfectly smooth and continuous. Think of the dots on the map as recommendations; it’s entirely up to you which ones you add to your plan.
