A loop through the western part of Orlické hory. From Říčky, you ride down through the beautiful Julinčino údolí. But no idyla lasts forever, so you'll need to climb a hill briefly on the road before continuing towards Pěčín. Again, you'll ride on the road for a bit to get to the other bank of the Zdobnice river, and then comes one long but actually pleasant climb up to the very ridge of Orlické hory. It's pleasant because it's perfectly steady, so you can find your ideal pace. In Rampuše, there's the only chance to grab a snack with a minimal detour from the route. Then you continue towards Velká Deštná, before which you turn onto the Jiráskova cesta ridge trail. It offers beautiful views of the landscape, and at the same time, you'll start to descend slowly, picking up a more pleasant pace. Finally, you pass through the Říčky ski resort and you're at the finish line. All paths are paved – either asphalt or gravel surfaces.

Peklo

Z Nového Města tě čeká 13,5 km příjemně plynulého stoupání až do podhůří Orlických hor.

Poctivé stoupání a výhledy, kvůli kterým tyhle krpály jezdíme. Z Horní Malé Úpy nejdřív přijde sešup dolů do Dolní Malé Úpy, kde potkáš ty zrzavé krasavce z úvodní fotky – Skotský náhorní skot. Ještě kousek dolů do Horních Albeřic a pak přes Mravenečník. […]

We've personally ridden every route first to make sure it works the way it should. We check surfaces, how interesting it is, and the overall flow.

And we don't stop there – based on our own experience, we keep tweaking the routes. We change sections that don't work, hunt for better alternatives... We're not about quantity, but about making sure every route is well thought-out and tested.

That's our added value.

We design routes so you can safely ride them on a gravel bike. But at the same time, all routes work great for MTB too – though hardcore mountain bikers might feel there's more tarmac than they'd expect.

But experience shows that it's exactly this mix of surfaces that makes routes interesting. We've been riding MTB for years ourselves, so we totally get both perspectives. We combine smooth cruising sections with more technical passages that'll put a smile on your face – everything balanced, no extremes.

Either way, cycling is pretty individual.

For us, riding isn't about devouring kilometers – it's about the whole experience. That's why we deliberately include nice spots to chill – good coffee, a cozy pub, or maybe a meadow where you can lie down for a bit.

We don't plan routes as races, but as laid-back rides where you enjoy both the bike and moments of peace. Relax is simply important.

And don't worry, Strava only counts riding time. Nobody needs to know you're staring at the sky for an hour.
